Service buildings
The service buildings are an important part of your camping experience. That is why we have put a great deal of effort into our two state-of-the-art service buildings. The toilets and showers are always thoroughly cleaned during our cleaning rounds.
Service building Sjöängen
On Sjöängen, you will find our new, modern service building, offering the very highest standards and fresh, modern facilities. All hot water is heated using solar energy. The ventilation system features heat recovery, ensuring you always have fresh air without feeling any draughts. All showers and toilets are tiled and feature underfloor heating and tiled floors. Both disabled-accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available in this service building.
The kitchen is equipped with a hob, microwave, oven and a rapid dishwasher for free use, which cleans dishes in 3 minutes. Dining areas are located in the lounge next to the kitchen, offering fantastic views over Gamlebyviken. The campsite’s laundry room is also located in this building.
Service building Kullen
Our service building on the hill has been recently renovated and now features a state-of-the-art kitchen with brand-new fittings, equipped with a hob, oven, microwave and a high-speed dishwasher that cleans dishes in 3 minutes.
The showers and toilets are of a high standard and, as usual, you use your code to gain access. The toilets and showers are always hosed down during cleaning, which means we rinse everything down to keep them fresh. There is also a public toilet for bathers.
Service buildings
Showers
The showers in our service buildings are fitted with card readers. When using the showers, please enter the code you were given at check-in. A 2.5-minute shower costs 5 kronor. Are you wondering why we charge for the showers? We want to work with you to reduce water consumption. We are used to having good access to water here in Sweden, but in recent years water levels have been lower than normal. Together, we must become water-wise and conserve the water resources we have. One step in this process for us was to introduce a charge for our showers.
Shower code
When you check in, you will be given a code that you will need to access the campsite and the service buildings, as well as to use the showers and toilets.
Sewage disposal
There are facilities for emptying waste water tanks at both service buildings. Solid waste must be disposed of at the waste disposal point opposite the refuse collection point; see the markings on the site map.
Disabled toilet
There is a disabled toilet at reception and in the service building. On the short side of the service building, there is also a disabled shower equipped with a card reader. Each swipe of the card grants 2.5 minutes of shower time and costs 5 kr.
Kitchen
In the service building at Sjöängen, you’ll find a kitchen equipped with an oven, hob and microwave. Enjoy the large, glazed dining area with wonderful views over the water. For those who prefer not to wash up by hand, there’s a quick-cycle dishwasher here that takes 3 minutes per load, available for free use.
In the service building at Kullen, you will also find a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with an oven, hob and microwave, and there is a quick dishwasher here too.
Nursing room
The Sjöängen service centre has a baby changing room with a raised shower and a baby bath, as well as an extra small toilet suitable for young children.
Laundry room and prices
The Sjöängen service building has a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Washing machine: Washes a load in 45 minutes and costs 50 kr.
Tumble dryer: 30 minutes costs 30 kr.
To use the washing machine and tumble dryer, enter your code. Instructions on how to start the washing machine and tumble dryer are displayed on the wall in the laundry room. If you are unable to start the washing machine, please visit reception.
