We are a family-run business, and in addition to KustCamp Ekön, our group also includes KustCamp Gamleby, Hamnhotellet in Västervik and Gamleby Hotell. We enjoy creating cosy places with a welcoming atmosphere, where guests can relax and feel at home during their stay.

We are a 4-star nature-oriented seaside campsite. We have a real gem here for those who love the sea and nature.
Nature & seaside camping
Most pitches have sea views, and as the campsite is situated on a peninsula, you can explore the natural surroundings on the cliffs along the water’s edge. We offer reinforced pitches for motorhomes.
Ekön is a nature reserve designed for outdoor activities. Here you’ll find, among other things, fantastic bathing rocks, a pebble beach, a hiking trail and a substantial viewing tower with a magical view of the archipelago.

Several marked hiking trails and footpaths wind their way through the area, suitable for both adults and children. The trails take you along the coast, through wooded areas and across open countryside with sweeping views of the archipelago. You can choose a short stroll at sunset or a longer hike with a coffee break on a cliff by the water.
Many paths start directly from or near the campsite, making it easy to set off without a car or much planning. Information and map of walking trails
KustCamp Gamleby our sister campsite
KustCamp Gamleby is a 4-star family campsite situated on a bay of the Baltic Sea. Here, you can enjoy lake-like temperatures in the sea water of our popular lagoon pool. Are you brave enough to jump from our 10-metre diving tower? If that feels too high, we have other options, such as a floating obstacle course in the water or a trampoline if you’d rather stay on dry land.
